Size guide & step by step measurements

We know that ordering shoes online can be slightly overwhelming, which is why we have created this simple size guide, specifically tailored for our shoes. Please follow the steps below.

Are all the ballet flats made in the same shape?

No, we have two models in our ballet flats; Classic style (two piece - folded design) and Swan style (made of one continuous piece).

So, how are the two styles differentiated in the collections?

Most of our ballet flats are made in the Classic style, so if you do not see 'swan' in the title, your pair is in Classic style. If you choose our swan model, the title will say 'Swan' (such as in White Swan, Beige Swan, etc).

Is there a sizing difference in the two styles?

Yes, there is. Although, the soles measure exactly the same in both styles, our Swan style is made slightly narrower than standard (due to its upper part design).

Are the ballet flats true to size?

Our Classic style is true to size, however our Swan ballet flats are made on the narrower side. Please, see details below.

Are the Oxford shoes true to size?

Yes, they are. If you want to double check sizing, here are the precise outsole measurements of the Oxford shoes (for ballet flats, please, check sizing below).

36. l: 24 cm w: 8 cm

37. l: 24.8 cm w: 8 cm

38. l: 25.5 cm w: 8.3 cm

39. l: 26.2 cm w: 8.3 cm

40. l: 27 cm w: 8.5 cm

41. l: 27.5 cm w: 8.8 cm

42. l: 28 cm w: 9 cm

Is there a way to double check sizing?

If in doubt, we recommend tracing your feet as follows (preferably in the afternoon, when our feet are the widest): stand on a piece of A4 paper, circle your feet around with a straight standing pencil and measure the distance between longest and widest points. Alternatively, stand with your heel against a wall and place a ruler under your feet to measure length. Compare the measurements to the list below.

Sizes and precise outer sole measurements & international size comparison

Our classic style ballet flats allow 1 - 1.5 cm more in width than the listed measurements of the outsoles below, where our Swan style ballet flats allow 0.5 cm more in width.

For instance; if you are a size 39 with a width of 9.5 cm, we recommend our classic style. If your feet width is only 8.7 cm, we recommend the Swan style.
